    • Personal Information collected: version of web browser, IP address, time zone, cookie information, what sites or products you view, search terms, and how you interact with the Site.
  • Order information
    • Purpose of collection: to provide products or services to you to fulfil our contract, to process your payment information, arrange for shipping, and provide you with invoices and/or order confirmations, communicate with you, screen our orders for potential risk or fraud, and when in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.
    • Source of collection: collected from you.
    • Disclosure for a business purpose: shared with our payment processor Shopify or PayPal, our fulfilment partners BigBuy, Syncee, Printful & T-Pop and finally with our shipping partners (including FedEx, UPS, An Post, La Poste, DHL & DPD).
    • Personal Information collected: name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers, debit card numbers, etc.), email address, and phone number.
  • Customer support information
    • Purpose of collection: to provide customer support.
    • Source of collection: collected from you
    • Disclosure for a business purpose: shared with our processor Shopify.
    • Personal Information collected: name, billing address, shipping address,  email address, order history and phone number.

Minors

The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 16. We do not intentionally collect Personal Information from children. If you are the parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with Personal Information, please contact us at the address above to request deletion.

 

Email Marketing Mailing List

Millie's Pet Supplies uses best practice standards in managing our email marketing mailing database, subscribers can only join the list by following our double opt in procedure. The first step involves completing a sign up form on our website, the second step involves confirming your decision to receive marketing emails from us by clicking on a confirmation link we will send you via the email address you provided in step 1. If you do not complete the full process we will not retain any of the information submitted in step one nor will you receive any marketing emails from our store.

If you sign up to receive email marketing from us we will only use the data provided for the purpose given i.e. marketing promotional content from Millie's Pet Supplies. We use Seguno and Shopify as our marketing automation platforms. By subscribing to opt-in to our email marketing mailing list, you acknowledge that the information you provide will be transferred to Seguno and Shopify for processing. Please note that you can opt-out at any time from receiving our marketing emails by selecting the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each of our emails. 

 

Live Chat Feature

This website is using Shopify Inbox, a chat platform that connects users with the customer support of Millie's Pet Supplies. We are collecting email addresses, names and phone numbers only with the consent of the users, in order to start the chat. The messages and data exchanged are stored within the Shopify application. For more information, please refer to their Privacy Policy here.

Millie's Pet Supplies is not making use of these messages or data other than to follow up on users’ registered issues or inquiries. Your personal data will be processed and transmitted in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

 

Sharing Personal Information

We share your Personal Information with service providers to help us provide our services and fulfill our contracts with you, as described above. For example:

    Our processor Shopify uses limited automated decision-making to prevent fraud that does not have a legal or otherwise significant effect on you.

    • Temporary blacklist of IP addresses associated with repeated failed transactions. This blacklist persists for a small number of hours.
    • Temporary blacklist of credit cards associated with blacklisted IP addresses. This blacklist persists for a small number of days.
